Mrs. Erminia FORGIONE - Palumbo, 82, died on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, in St. Joseph Medical Center, Paterson, N.J. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Roseland, N.J., on Friday, March 23, at 10 a.m. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, (www.proutfuneralhome.com),370 Bloomfield Ave., Verona, N.J., on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Born in Alberona, Foggia, Italy, Mrs. Palumbo came to the United States in 1965 and settled in Orange and West Orange, N.J. She was a seamstress at Park Avenue Bridals in Verona for 25 years, retiring in 1996. Mrs. Palumbo was the wife of the late Raffaele Palumbo, and the beloved mother of Maria DeMartinis and her husband, Camillo, and Alessandro Palumbo and his wife, Jeannine. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Silvia, Julian, Raffaella and Justin DeMartinis, and Morgan, Sabrina and Alessandra Palumbo, as well as siblings in Italy, Michelangelo, Pompeo e Olga.
